One thousand seven hundred ninety seven steps

There is one big hill at the peak of Rexburg. Where ever you are in Rexburg, on campus, around town, or from the highway, the beautiful Rexburg Temple can always be seen. I love being able to look up from anywhere and see the strong beautiful walls of the temple. I love the message that it shows and the reminder it gives. I love how beautiful it is on the inside and outside. I love the spirit and feelings it gives me. We were encouraged by our high council representative for our ward to count the steps from our apartment to the temple. Last Sunday, I did. The count from my dorm door to the gate of the Rexburg temple is one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven steps.
